Green Body is now offering Level I (beginner) and Level II (intermediate) kettlebell classes.
Kettlebell exercises are whole-body exercises requiring full body integration and core stabilization.
Our bodies are integrated and rarely do we perform isolated movements in real life. We want to train the body in movement patterns that are natural to the body, in multiple planes with multiple joint actions. Full body exercises are functional exercises. Functional movements mimic motor recruitment patterns that are found in everyday life. They are mechanically sound and they strengthen the integrated movement systems of the body (kinetic chain). Functional movements have been shown to produce better results!
All Kettlebell classes will be led by Drew Freeman, RKC Level I and RKC Level II Certified instructor.
