I am very happy to be working at Green Body as a Sustainability Consultant, Business Development Assistant, and Trainer. I am a project management professional with an emphasis in sustainability in business. I have worked over 7 years in project management, and 2 years as a Sustainability Consultant. I have a Bachelor of Science in Project Management from Minneapolis College of Art & Design (MCAD), and I am a NETA certified Personal Trainer. I enjoy practicing yoga, meditation, and participating in the sport of triathlon. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my poodle poochie Ophelia, being out in the community, listening to live music, urban gardening & farming, brewing kombucha, cooking, camping, and kayaking.
I take pride in working with companies who value, in addition to economic, social and environmental benefits. My passion for sustainability is rooted in a love of nature, beginning in childhood, growing up camping, exploring, and adventuring in the great outdoors. This love most recently culminated in my Post-Baccalaureate Certification in Sustainable Design in 2010, with which I now use my knowledge and understanding of the environment to further the aims of social and environmental equity in sustainable business development. It is through this combined specialized education that I have the ability to synergize my experience in project management and business development with sustainability commitments and practices, and it is in this work that I have found much happiness, health, and success.
