Arah Bahn

Arah's yoga practice started 20 years ago, with a class she took while living in central Oregon. The resilience and stark beauty of the alpine desert, as well as the very active outdoors lifestyle of that community, drove her into a yoga studio for some structured stretching, relaxation and reflection.

In the years and practice since then, yoga has presented her with gifts of strength, flexibility, calm, insight, delight, love, and inspiration. These have proven very helpful with the endurance sports and outdoors endeavors that she enjoys, as well as with her photography, cooking, gardening, and work as a web designer.

Arah has practiced in several yoga traditions, which include Kripalu, Iyengar, Bikram, and Vinyasa. The joyous, powerful and meditative style of Vinyasa has resonated for her since 2007, and inspired her to acquire teaching certification in the winter of 2010. As a yoga teacher, she looks forward to helping others in their personal wellness journeys.
